Aston Villa takes on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 15th February at 12PM, at Villa Park. Aston Villa is currently standing 8th with 16 points, losing in their last match against Liverpool, which was Liverpool’s first win.

Spurs is currently standing 5th in the BWSL and lost against previous BWSL champion, Chelsea 2-0. In the last game that Villa and Spurs faced each other, it ended in a 2-1 win for Spurs.
New additions
Since the last meeting between both teams, the January transfer window has taken place, which gives both clubs the opportunity to strengthen their squads and added new key players ahead of the last half of the WSL season.
Villa made two signings this window, Jenna Nighswonger on loan from Arsenal and French international Oriane Jean - François.
Spurs made five signings in the window. Signe Gaupset, Maika Hamano (loan from Chelsea), Hanna Wijk, Matilda Nildén and Julie Blakstad.
