Alessia Russo, Chloe Kelly and Daphne Van Domselaar were all missing from the squad due to injuries from the international break. Which resulted in Renée Slegers made five changes to the side that beat Crystal Palace 4-0 before the international break. Blackstenius came in for the injured striker Alessia Russo, Manuela Zinsberger also came in for injured goalkeeper Daphne Van Domselaar. Caitlin Foord replaced injured Chloe Kelly. The next two changes to the side where Walti who came out for Kim Little and Nighswonger came out for Katie McCabe.

Leicester city was an unchanged team, that drew 2-2 to Spurs before the International break. Arsenal’s creativity was intense for The Foxes. It took the gunners eight minutes to find a breakthrough with tight compacted Leicester. With Frida Maanum teasing the ball across to the back post which Catilin Foord rifled in the back of the net.

Emily Fox and Beth Mead both had chances to double the hosts lead a few minutes later. Mead was unlocked down the right flank due to a great switch of play from Catilin Foord before a perfectly weighted pass across the face of goal that Blackstenius was able to tap in to give the London outfit a stronghold in the game early on.

Caitlin Foord solidified her dominance before half-time by finding the net for her second of the night at the half-hour mark, the winger did need the help of an unlucky Julie Thibaud deflection which helped the ball over Janina Leitzig but this confirmed the three points to the gunners.

Aside a few-half chances on the counter, The Foxes; barley threatened Manuela Zinsberger. The referee then blew for half time with the host three goals to the good. Arsenal continued their comfortable dominance in the second half and were denied a fourth goal after an incredible goal-line clearance form Janice Cayman as her diving header prevented Mariona Cardentey from close range. Leicester was looking

sluggish and tired, and it only got worst. With substitute Victoria Pelova combing well with Kim little.

The fourth goal came for the host after an hour played with captain Kim Little dribbling through the Leicester defence and playing a cross to Mead from the byline. Which Mead sent a surefire header past Letzing in the Leicester net.

The gunners were in cruise control, and they were caught off guard at the other end with Yuka Momiki scoring a consolation goal on the edge of the box that completely rooted Manuela Zinsberger to the spot. It did, however, give the away fans something to cheer about but not for long, as The Gunners regain their four-goal cushion. Pelovas performance was reward in the 69' minute with her first goal back since returning from her Anterior Crucial Ligament (ACL) injury earlier this year. She capitalised after Leicester failed to deal with Katie McCabe's fantastic free kick delivery that Pelova struck cleanly to make the score 5-1. Leicester was completely deflated after the fifth goal went in. Arsenal proved too much to handle for The Foxes and it shows in the result.
