Wienroither will wear the number 13 shirt for the 2025/26 Barclays Women's Super League campaign.

"I'm honestly so happy to be staying here," said Laura. "So, when the opportunity came up that I can stay, I didn't have to think twice, it was a no-brainer for me. I'm so happy to be finally here."

"We're delighted that we've been able to bring Laura to City as a permanent signing." Said Therese Sjogran. "Laura's application and performances were outstanding throughout her loan spell last season and, as I expected in January, brought even more quality in the full-back position."

Life After Arsenal.

Wienroither spent three years at Arsenal, making 30 appearances and scoring one goal. She won Arsenal's Player of the Month award in November 2022 and lifted the League Cup twice with the club.

Laura Wienroither is comfortable operating as a right-back or as an advanced right wing-back. Whether holding the defensive line or overlapping into attack, she brought adaptability to Arsenal's setup. Quick accross the ground and committed in challenges, Laura was hard to beat one-on-one and reliable in recovery. While not a constant goal threat, she offered width, delivery, and composure under pressure. These are just some of the qualities Arsenal will miss following her departure.

She has now signed permanently for Manchester City, having spent last season on loan at the club. The move signals a step forward in her career as she continues to compete at the top level of the women's game.

What Laura brings to Man City.

Laura Wienroither is known for her defensive tenacity and energy, equally comfortable holding the line as a right-back or pushing on as a right wing-back. She combines pace, intelligent positioning, and precise delivery, making her a valuable asset to Andrée Jeglertz's squad.

While she was primarily used as a right-back or right wing-back at Arsenal, her pace, delivery, and work rate mean she could be a key contributor in multiple roles at Manchester City.

International team.

Having made her senior debut for Austria in 2019, Wienroither has since earned 42 caps and scored two goals. She has represented her country at every youth level and continues to be an important figure for the Austria national team.

What This Move Means.

The signing signals intent from Manchester City, who are looking to get back into the top 3. Wienroither's energy, experience, and defensive intelligence will likely prove vital as the club looks to climb to the top 3.

This is a big move for Wienroither, playing at a big club is great. She will help Manchester City to hopefully get top 3 next season. It will be exciting to see her back fully fit, and fans will be eager to see what she can achieve in the 2025/26 campaign.
