Full time United 2-1 Spurs

Their previous meeting and what does this result mean

Last weekend these two teams faced each other in the WSL and it looked like Spurs were

going to get their first ever competitive win against the red devils as they were winning 3-0

until the 74’ minute. During the 74’ minute Ella Toone scored a volley beginning the start of

United’s comeback, and then Fridolina Rolfö (who began the game as a substitute) scored in

the 82’ minute and the 90+4’ minute meaning the two teams shared the points. Similarly in

this game today Spurs was the first team to score before United went and scored 2 more

taking the win, due to their quarter-final win today Manchester United will now face Arsenal

in the semi-finals of the Subway cup after Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 2-0.
