How have the sides got on this season?

Arsenal had a slow start to the season, losing to London rivals, Chelsea in October, which lead to the sacking of Jonas Eidevall. Renée Slegers took over, and since then, Arsenal have been flying, with only losing four and drawing one in 26 games. The former Dutch international took the gunners up to second place, just six points behind London rivals, Chelsea. Arsenal go into this game as favourites hoping to add another three points onto the table.

Leicester City have had a woeful season, playing 18 games and managing to win only four times. They failed to beat West Ham on the opening day of the season, followed by Everton, Liverpool and Aston Villa. Amandine Miquel has fallen very short to Arsenal, in a 1 -0 loss to the Gunners back in September, when Frida Maanum hit home which was the first and only goal for Arsenal. The Foxes have been successful in this seasons FA Cup, making it to the fifth round, losing to Manchester City 3 -1, which goals from Nelly Lasova from Leicester. Before the loss, they beat Stoke City ladies 4 - 1 with goals from Missy Goodwin, Nelly Lasova and a double from Yuka Momiki.
