On Sunday, Tottenham Hotspur are set to face Everton at Goodison Park; recently transferred to the Everton Women's side.
The last time the teams met was in May in which the match ended 1 - 1, with many more of their head to head scores looking similar.
Last season, Everton finished 8th in the WSL, whereas Tottenham finished 11th nearing the line of relegation. Both teams are looking to change their style of play and approach the game in order to make the standings look different this season.
According to Tottenham Hotspurs Head Coach, Martin Ho, following Spurs' first win in 9 months last weekend against West Ham, "The squad has gained confidence and proceed to show passion and commitment to the game."
With Everton's new summer signings and 4 - 1 victory last weekend, Ho stated that "It will most definitely be a tough game, but that his squad are capable of doing well."
A competitive team is wanted from Ho and despite the team needing some defining, the squad is progressing.
Following wins from both teams the weekend previous, it is clear both teams are striving to do well and are determined to create a winning streak. This will also be Everton's first game played at Goodison Park this season, potentially creating an advantage for the team.
