The Lionesses remain unbeaten in 2025 and are looking promising in this Nations League

tournament. The European Championships are just around the corner and this performance has really shown what they are capable of and the threat they will bring to Switzerland.

The opening goal came in the 21st minute with a header from Lucy Bronze followed by a

spectacular goal just before half time from Millie Bright doubling England’s lead. At half time Aggie

Beever-Jones replaced Lauren James and shortly after she scored her first senior England goal

making the score 3-0. Ten minutes later, in the 77th minute, Manchester City rising star, Jess Park made

it 4-0. However, Keira Walsh scored an incredible goal from outside the box in the 88th minute. Friday's match was Keira Walsh’s 83rd England cap and she finally had the chance to celebrate her first ever goal for the Lionesses.

Overall, England dominated this match with 68% possession and 20 shots. This was 16 shots more than Belgium, and The Lionesses created nine corners. Debutant goals from experienced and upcoming stars really emphasised this England team, who have so much to offer, shining a bright light on this summer’s Euro’s to defend their title.

England are set to face Belgium on Tuesday at the King Power at Den Drew’s Stadium, so will

Belgium bring it all to their home game or will England have another dominating match, filled with

incredible goals?
