England are the first team through to the final of the UEFA Women's Euros 2025. Full time in Geneva, England V Italy ended 2-1 to England. This means England will face either Spain or Germany this Sunday 27th July. The venue of today's game in Geneva was the Stade De Genève and kick off was 8pm GMT. According to the UEFA WEURO25 website, this was also Italy's first semi-final in 28 years. Following this, the total attendance for this game was 26,539.

England’s Starting XI: Hampton, Greenwood, Morgan, Williamson, Bronze, Stanway, Walsh, Toone, Hemp, Russo and James.
Italy’s Starting XI: Giuliani, Linari, Salvai, Lenzini, De Guglielmo, Oliviero, Bonansea, Caruso, Giugliano, Cantore and Girelli.
The first half was great for Italy; they took many shots and strook one into the back of the net during the 33rd minute from Barbara Bonansea. The Italy fans were electric, backing their girls and supporting the stunning goal. However, they will now exit the competition, which was their most successful since they reached the semi-finals in 1997.
The Lionesses took a slow start being 1-0 down at half-time but they made a comeback and came back stronger. As the game started to come to the end of stoppage time, teenage star, Michelle Agyemang scored an equaliser making it 1-1. We saw the fans become full with nerves; the dreaded penalties were in sight. But we had to face extra time first, which then led to Chloe Kelly taking a penalty and managing to wriggle it in past Giuliani on the rebound.
On some post-match interviews, some journalists spoke with England players such as Lucy Bronze, who said "We find a way to get goals." and "Italy played a good game in the first-half."
