A tense clash between West Ham United and Manchester United ends goalless between the two WSL teams in London on Saturday 19th April.

The game leaving Manchester United in third with 43 points and West Ham in seventh with 20 points. Manchester United, being the dominant team with 17 shots, 5 on target, 67% possession with 481 passes and an 80% pass accuracy, failed to hit the back of the net against a strong home side.


West Ham were very tough in defence, with 46 clearances, 11 interceptions and 9 blocks. Kinga Szemik,

with a 3.5/5 match rating, made some crucial saves to keep her team in the game.


There was 3 yellow cards in the game, the first in the 33rd minute to West Ham player Li Mengwen, then not long after, in the 39th minute, United’s Millie Turner got a yellow card, and just after the break, United player Gabby George gets another which made it two yellow cards for United.


With another goalless second half, both teams battled hard defensively and in the attack, but after many changes to the game that were proved ineffective, the game ended 0 - 0 in London.
