Tessa Wullaert has been a key player for Belgium in the Euros this year, playing 270 minutes for the Red Devils, but who is she? Let's take a look at her career so far.

At the Euros so far, Wullaert played in all 3 group stage games for Belgium. They lost out on their opening game to Italy on the second day of the tournamenet, the next game was a bit brighter for Tessa as she managed to get an assist for Justine Vanhaevermaet and another assist but was later ruled offside. She managed to hit the back of the net once V Portugal, just 3 minutes into the game. With the 2 losses, Belgium and Tessa were grouped.
She started her career off at SV Zulte Waregem in the first division of Belgium. She played with them for 5 years before switching to RSC Anderlecht for a year when she won the Belgian Cup. She left after one year and for 2 years played for Standard de Liege where she scored 34 goals in 51 games. She catched the eye of many clubs but she moved to VfL Wolfsburg where she spent 3 years and moved to one of the greatest clubs in the WSL, Manchester City. She played 31 games and scored 6 goals before moving back to Belgium and became an absolute goal machine for the side, scoring 72 goals in 50 games. She scored 46 goals for Fortuna Sittard in 42 appearances and then she signed for Italian giants, Inter Milan in 2024 and is still with them currently. She has scored 285 goals in 424 goals in her entire club career.
For the national team, she made 2 appearances for the U-15s, 17 for the U-17s, 12 for the U-19s and 146 for the Senior National Side. She has scored 104 goals in total for Belgium. She has the second-highest number of caps for Belgium. She is also Belgium's highest goal-scorer of all-time in women's international football with 93 goals, and also holds the absolute goalscoring national record having scored more than the world famous striker Romelu Lukaku.
