On Sunday February first, West Ham, currently 11th in the table, fighting against relegation and Spurs, currently 5th in the table, will face each other in the BWSL. The match will kick off at 12:55 pm CET at Chigwell Construction Stadium. In the past few years when the teams faced each other multiple times, West Ham won 2 times and Spurs won 4 times, none of the matches ended in a draw.

If we zoom in on West Ham, number 11 in the BWSL table, they’ve had some really nice signings in the past window, like Tuva Hansen and Katie Zelem. West Ham also has great players, like Katrina Gorry. In West Ham's last match, they won 1-2 against Leicester city. If we take a look at the stats from the first half of the season, West ham has won 2, lost 9 and drawn 2.
Now we’re going to take a look at the fifth place in the BWSL table, Spurs. In the last transfer window Spurs had some really good impact players signed, like Signe Gaupset and Maika Hamano. In their last match, Spurs faced Liverpool and lost 2-0. Their current match standings are: 7 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses.
As you have read above, both teams have good new signings, but also great other players. West Ham has players like Katrina Gorry and Ffion Morgan. While Spurs have players like Bethany England, Claire Hunt and Lize Kop.
A place in the league doesn’t say a thing, the match can go either way. And that’s why it could be a really great match to watch.
