Natalia Arroyo praised Taylor’s growth and attitude in today’s press conference, describing her as “a hard worker” who “was patient” while waiting for her opportunity. The manager explained that the staff had been working with her on small details to help her get closer to the starting eleven, particularly on how to use her energy more efficiently in midfield.
According to Arroyo, Taylor has learned to be smarter in her movement and positioning, knowing when to press and when to hold her ground. In her typically humble way, Arroyo stressed that Taylor’s progress is not simply down to coaching but to the player’s own attitude and consistency in training. She said Taylor is now enjoying the moment of becoming more of a “protagonist” in the team and revealed that the squad “was celebrating the call-up today.”
Arroyo added that Taylor’s recent performances show both her persistence and her importance to Villa’s evolving team identity, describing her as “always a team player” who has finally earned her opportunity to “shine” at senior level with the national team.
Taylor’s journey under Arroyo mirrors Aston Villa’s own development this season, defined by discipline, patience, and a growing belief that continues to bring individual and collective rewards.
