Switzerland vs Germany: Key Tests Ahead of International Friendly.

Switzerland takes on Belgium tomorrow, the 28th November at 6:00pm GMT, at Estadio El Chapin. The two teams played against each other 7 times before. In these 7 matches Switzerland and Belgium both won 2 and played 3 draws. During the Euros in Switzerland, Switzerland reached the quarterfinal while Belgium didn’t get through the group. 

In the women’s FIFA world ranking Belgium is number 20. In the last national break they played Ireland twice in the playoffs in the Women’s Nations League for promotion and relegation. In the first match against Ireland they lost 4-2 away. In the home game they won 2-1, but it wasn’t enough to stay in group A. During the women’s Euros at home, they qualified for the quarterfinal against Spain, they lost 2-0 with a player less. 

Both of the teams have had standout players through the years. One of Belgium's goalies got the prize for best goalkeeper in the Netherlands, Femke Bastiaen. She had 8 clean sheets last season and had 22 conceded goals. While Switzerland has really big names such as Lia Wälti, who made a huge step to Juventus last summer, Alisha Lehmann, the women’s footballer with the most followers, Géraldine Reuteler, who is rumored to make the step to Arsenal, Livia Peng who made a big move to Chelsea, and had big effort in Chelsea’s draw 1-1 draw against Barcelona  and Riola Xhemali, who played for Wolfsburg last season and already scored 8 goals in 8 games this season. 

It is a friendly match, which can get really interesting. If you take a look at the last games from both teams, this match really can be interesting, since both the teams are having similar results, but Switzerland is winning more games.
